Leveraging Teacher Evaluation with Sharon McCarthy and Janice Ollarvia
Sunday, February 9, 2014
Sheraton Dallas Hotel, 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Increased teacher effectiveness impacts student performance more than any other factor. In this experiential workshop, learn concrete ways to identify teacher performance issues and approaches for delivering feedback, giving recommendations, and making interventions. You’ll also explore resources and sources of support schools need to improve instruction. Participants will leave the workshop better able to address the behavioral and instructional deficiencies that hinder partially effective teachers, help effective teachers sharpen their practices, and counsel truly ineffective teachers out of the system with integrity.
(This NASSP Professional Development Workshop is a separate event from Ignite ’14.)
NASSP Member rate: $150
NASSP Nonmember rate: $195
